Based on the fully animated game by 0verflow, School Days was one of the most controversial animes from 2007, due to its violent ending scenes. Other than that, it's a typical school / romance / comedy anime about a boy and two girls he becomes entangled with. School Days was followed by a first single-episode OVA, Valentine Days, in January 2008, and another single-episode OVA, Magical Heart Kokoro-chan, in March 2008 (focusing on Katsura's younger sister).
