Gegege no Kitarou: Sennen Noroi Uta (The Thousand-Year Curse Song) is the 2008 sequel to the 2007 live-action movie Gegege no Kitaro adapted from the classic manga / anime series. The story involves a forbidden romance between a man and a nure-onna youkai (enchantress) that has lasted a thousand years, and its consqeuences - namely a boy who is half-human, half-"youkai" (a supernatural creature).
