Blood: The Last Vampire the movie is the live-action adaptation of Production I.G's animated film of the same title, originally from 2000. The film stars the South Korean actress Jeon Ji-hyun (Gianna Jun) as the half-vampire loli Saya, while the Japanese actress Koyuki plays her opponent Onigen. Saya, a 16-year-old sword-wielding girl, is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan. She is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon is disguise. In Japan, the movie premieres on May 29, 2009 under the title Last Blood.
