After he leaves the hospital to try and start a new life, he has a dream of a guillotine, a murderer who chops off someone's head, and the knights who chase him. Eventually, Ren crosses over the boundary between ordinary life and extraordinary life. Dies irae received a remake in 2009 subtitled Die Wiederkunft (The Return), featuring touched up CGs and a rewritten script.
