Final Fantasy XIV is the second MMORPG in Square Enix's epic fantasy franchise. The game is set in the world of Eorzea, with a diary-styled story that goes like this... Nestled in a far corner of Hydaelyn, battered by restless seas, lies a realm over which the Twelve hold vigil. And so, seeking glory and greatness, riches and renown, we set out for this land - Eorzea. On our journey, lifelong friendships were forged and tearful farewells were bade, as Nymedia the Spinner toiled, ever weaving our fates. Yet the land we found was not without peril.
